We really like Galveston Park n' Cruise. Its right across the street from the main entrance to the cruise terminal. Drop off you luggage at the terminal, go across the street and park and walk back across the street and enter the terminal. So close there is no need for a shuttle. They are clean and safe.

I second Galveston Park N Cruise. It's awesome not having to wait for a shuttle. They also offer covered parking too..

Another vote for Galveston park n cruise, we have used them twice in the past and will be using them again in a couple of weeks, outdoor parking so far as it seems reasonably secure, the indoor parking is in a series of old small industrial warehouses outdoor is in the spaces between the buildings, all fenced in. Only downside is parking is packed tight and some of the lots have irregular shapes, not a problem unless you have a big SUV, etc, even then they have helpful people to guide you in and out of tight spaces, they also have a golf cart and will shuttle you to the corner of their lot..

EZ Cruise gets our vote.

We used EZ Cruise earlier this month and had to wait in a line of cars after we had paid to be escorted to another location. They now have four locations but you check in at the original locaiton. The wait time depends on how long before a shuttle is available to lead you to the other spot. Also there was a tremendous line waiting for a shuttle after the cruise. Probably will try something else next time.

I am a fan of Galveston Park n Cruise! I have used them twice now and love the fact that I can drop my bags at the terminal, drive across the street and park and then take the short walk back. They even have a little golf cart that will take you back up the street after you park and wonderful customer service! Plus while everyone else is waiting on a shuttle to take them to their cars, I can walk across the street get my car and be on my way! I booked online and paid $35 for a 5 night cruise.

I've used EZ cruise 3 times and never, never a problem!

TIP:

I've used EZ twice while sailing on the Conquest, now Magic (7 day) and parked in Lot 1. If you are sailing on the Ecstasy, now Triumph (4-5 day) you will most likely park in lot 2, which is several blocks away and you will have to take the shuttle. There was no way I was going to walk to terminal from lot 2, but when I parked in lot 1, I walked to and from the terminal; only a block and took 5 mins. I would probably not park in EZ Cruise if I was cruising a 4 or 5 day. ALSO, I get the terminal very early (around 10am) and I've never had to wait in the line of cars that everyone speaks of. One of the perks of getting there early.

A not very well know or advertised tidbit about parking at the Galvelston Cruise Ship Terminal. Veterans with "Service Connected Disability" park free. You must show your VA Disability Letter or VA card showing % of disability at check in. A disabled car tag or plackard is not required.

Had always used ez cruise, but hated the remote locations that they have obtained. And definetly hate the whole shuttle bus part of it. Tried Galveston Park & Cruise in Oct. and loved it. Dropped friends and luggage off at pier, went and parked and walked across the street to join them. Already booked for Dec 1st and will use them again in July.

Come on Thursday... This week is gonna dragggggggg!!! :D

Used lighthouse, smaller lot, less busy. You don't want to wait in line at the port to drop your luggage off, line can be looong. Shuttles have a different line and they don't wait as long. We did not wait for a shuttle, the shuttle was already there waiting for us.

We always use Lighthouse. We have always paid in advance online and received a small discount. The shuttles are fast and very friendly.

How safe is this parking option? We are taking my daughters car. She is stationed at lackland. I'm rated at 60% service connected. Since its not my car I want to make sure its safe or secure.
