The cost for POA's beach day in Maui is $69 pp for adults.

Anyone been on this excursion? What's included?

Are we dropped off at a resort with loungers and umbrellas?

The following is a POA passenger's review from the NCL Excursions website. Do note the chair mentioned is a sand chair and not a resort-type lounger and no umbrellas:

"This excursion drops you right in the middle of 2 fabulous resorts. The sad thing is you can't use the pool at either one! They leave you with a chair & water, the rest you fend for yourself. This is a full 4 Hours! Save your time on this one & visit any free public beach on your own."

I just posted the same question a few moments ago, and then I saw your post.

I am reconsidering possibly going ahead and doing the Beach Day because we realized that we were basing our decision not to do it on that one review that was on the excursion description on the NCL webpage.

Seems that person was more interested in using a pool than doing beach time.

So we are rethinking our decision. Hopefully I will hear from some others. We don't want to rent a car on Day 2. So we're torn between Maui Beach Day and "Best of Maui"
