LCV Voyage - what are the benefits?

We are interested in the 2018 LCV Greek Isles to Italy Voyage particularly as it goes to Sicily which we have yet to visit. However the cruise before this one visits Corsica as well so we get to two places on our list. We are not able to do both. Can anyone explain the benefits of the LCV Voyage so help us decide please? I understand there are gifts left in cabin.. some of the special tours i have been told very expensive. heard the second LCV cruise was better than hte first..

My experience was on the first trip in 2016.

It had lovely events for the top cruisers and people in the big suites. There were also a few additional much more expensive but special land discoveries. The "exclusivity" and "being beyond the budget of many of the other regular guests" brought criticism. There was a strong focus on generating output for media reports and blogs. As a result it was just not a usual happy Azamara cruise for some but was for others.

However it would not be fair to rely on that experience when making a decision as I know they took onboard feedback and the second was different. So it would be better if you could get feedback from someone on that cruise.

I personally knew no one on the 2017 that uses CC. I was more interested in the type of gifts and special events. For example a special party or dinner on shore. All I read about was the tours from 2016. no one really posted anything on 2017 but that it was better. no mention of gifts or special tours.First hand knowledge is always better than hearsay.

You could ask Nikole, our LCV Ambassador. She is a very pleasant person who can tell you about activities and gifts. I know it is not the opinion of a passenger but maybe you still can get that also...
