The Tourism Authority is going to try to recruit the cruise lines to reposition some ships IF Bermuda hosts the America's Cup as a way to get more visitors here for the event.

Aida is one of the lines they are talking with.

It's near the bottom

"Mr Hanbury said that would be a better fit for Bermuda rather than the mega ships. He said some of the lines the BTA will be talking with would be Silver Seas, Oceania, Viking, and Aida."

Thanks! I overread this. I wonder how AIDA will fit into that "non mega ship" thing. AIDA has the largest ships compared to the other companies mentioned. The smallest, AIDAcara, has a double occupancy of 1,180 passengers. The AIDAvita/AIDAaura have a double occupancy of 1,266. The newer ones are even bigger. AIDA is a mass market company, the others are more small ships and on the luxury side.
