June Gloom. That's what we natives of Southern California call the annual weather pattern that pushes the low clouds formed by the coastal marine layer inland, causing a heavy morning overcast and cool but humid temperatures. It occurs around June. Hence, the name. Week 23's photo shows the heavy overcast lit by city-glow before sunrise. The street in the original was very yellow, so I threw most of the color away. Also, black & white looks “gloomier”. In case you're a budding photographer and are asking about adjusting white balance, that only works when a light source emits enough of the spectrum and our streetlights lack the blue end. Photography is educational!

The pictures of the abstracts -- looks like smoke in a couple of them.

We have had visitors in our back yard -- but I didn't have a camera handy.

Was on vacation at Disney World over this weekend, so my shots are a mix from that trip. I was bringing only lightweight and waterproof or protective equipment with me since it was very rainy and very very hot - so my shots were a mix from my water-resistant RX10 camera, and my A6300 mirrorless handheld with just one or two lenses each day.
