Seabourn Cruise Line Cancels Zodiak-Only Ventures Excursions in Alaska

I only now just saw this. Interestingly, late afternoon yesterday (well after this had been reported), I called Seabourn excursions directly to inquire if they had updated information regarding zodiacs on our August 1st sailing and was assured that this issue would be resolved by then and the zodiacs would in fact be used. Contrary to what others may have reported, the experience of going out on small zodiacs and sitting right at water level as compared to large catamarans which are far more imposing to wildlife and is a completely different experience doesn't even begin to compare. We booked this cruise specifically because of the awesome zodiac trips and interactions with the Expedition Team members we had in Antarctica on the Quest. What a disappointment.

I agree. I am on an upcoming sailing and am very disappointed.
