help choosing a cruise

MSC Seaside balcony $2500 this is a brand new ship

We have 2 kids 5 and 6 and went on 2 cruses with them on Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas RCL they loved the kids club there.

I guess it would depend on the itinerary. Which locations do you want to visit? Are you more interested in the new ship? I think it's personal preference.

That's a tough choice, but I think I would lean toward Seaside. When you factor in all the NCL nickel and dining, the difference will likely be more than $500.

The Seaside looks amazing. It's just a rendition right now .... of course, but it really looks amazing. I'm considering finding someone to do the 2 for 1!

took a chance and booked MSC! The ship looks fantastic

I would go with MSC Seaside too. New ships are always thrilling, just that much more excitement to add to your next cruise.

I would choose Seaside, but in terms of nickel and diming NCL and MSC are pretty much on par. They are very similar in many regards. I find MSC ships to be more beautiful, but food a bit worse than NCL's.

Imho Seaside will have too many people, but Getaway doesn't have adequate pool areas for 4k people anyway.

OMG ... I didn't think that was possible. The food on the NCL Sky was HORRIBLE. They would put something on the menu ... like Molten Lava Cake. Most of us know what this is and what to expect. What they served were small, flat DENSE choc cakes. Looked like they were cooked in shallow creme brulee ramekins. There was nothing molten about this dessert. No 'lava' either. They had Greek Dolmades .... and the menue SAID it was Lamb. Eh ... maybe ... most likely not. It was just ground meat stuffed/rolled in a cabbage leaf. VERY disappointing to this Greek!

Well we didn't sail on Sky. Or latest cruise on Breakaway and Gem food was ok to good, to very good. Not Princess or Celebrity, but nice.
