Has anyone booked the senic railway on St Kitts through cunard and was it ok ?.

Yes, just this past winter. I think you have to book through the cruise line. I recall trying to check prices and availability and their website didn't have a booking function. I don't know what individuals not on a ship do if they want to take the train. It's a great ride, and the rum punch is pretty good, too!

Be careful of the punch . They keep giving refills. We were on the early morning , trip first time I have been tipsy by 9.30am !!! I was a bit wobbly going down the stairs on the train from the upper deck.

Some passengers who were on the afternoon trip fell asleep when they returned and missed dinner.[emoji41]

That seems to be the case with all shore excursions that include unlimited rum punch - by the afternoon, it's more rum than punch.

When a ship is in port it can only be booked as a ship's shore excursion. On days that a ship is not in port it can be booked directly.

Hi,

I did this shore excursion in St. Kitts during a Celebrity cruise a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

Chuck

Agree. We did this one with Celebrity, which included a catamaran first. Sugar cookies, drinks and sandwiches also included on our tour. We'll worth the money.
