Living here, I can tell you that the airboat ride is probably one of the most original and unique things you can do here in the time allotted. Whenever snowbird friends or family visit, they always enjoy our visits there. Anything else you do here might be repetitive to a cruise, unless you really want that "one more beach day".

I did a ship-sponsored tour of the Everglades after my cruise. Our luggage went on the bus, and afterwards we were dropped off at the airport.
