ketchikan misty fjords float trips - August 24 2017

The weather is supposed to be rainy. Is it worth taking a floatplane or helicopter tour? Concerned low clouds/overcast might minimize the views.

Can you be a bit more specific.

Are you asking if it is rainy or are you looking at a forecast.

If the weather and visibility is very bad the tours often do not run.

Some days are certainly better then others but weather in Alaska is hard to predict and can change relatively quickly.

These types of tours should be booked in advance.
