$10 Super Sale items on the Royal Promanade

Are there any good deals at this $10 Super Sale. Cruise Compass says that everything is $10 at this special sale and I was wondering if it is worth going to. What has anyone bought?

My wife won a watch that was one of the $10 sale items. It ran for a month or two.

I've purchased costume jewelry for gifts.

I find the evening purses worth it. There are usually some nice scarves.

Only if you don't mind spending $10 for $5 items.

I bought a hat when I lost my original one. A year later it's still perfectly fine. I think whether it's any good or not depends on what you expect and what you're looking for.

RCI are making a profit on each and every item. Not a critism of RCI thats what they are in business to do.

Dollar Store quality merchandise for $10...

I try to get there 30 minutes early, get a drink, and find a seat close to the action. Those first 5 minutes can be a fantastically entertaining!

you can always count on:

Pasminas

cheap watches

costume jewelry sets in styles no one actually wears

clutches/purses

tee shirts

maybe some tie tacks or cufflinks

the pashminas are about the only 'deal' as they are decently sized and not crappy. perfect for stocking up on for those office parties or random secret Santa gifts. the watches make for cheap presents for the kids. the purses are never my style but they work for an inexpensive evening /dressy outfit.

as fot tee shirts any port tourist trap has them less expensive ..typically a 3/$25 or 5/$25 deal.

I usually buy a scarf, t-shirt or evening purse for myself. I had my black pasmina scarf and evening purse for 8 years and it is in great condition. I bring with me on almost every cruise we been on.

Just got off Oasis and holy moly people get serious about these sales. Plus, I can't even count how many times I got pushed out of the way. [emoji23]

I got a $10 watch 11 years ago on the Jewel and it still works. I have had to replace the battery once. When I bought it and mentioned it at our dinner table that night one guy said "that won't last you 'til the end of the cruise". Boy, was he wrong!

I've gotten a few good things. T-Shirts, Evening Bags, cute costume bracelets, wallets, sunglasses, etc. My husband usually gets a watch - and they have lasted several years! Always felt that we got more than our money's worth.

Don't go to the poster sale. That stuff will be out there all week.

actually no. the stuff that gets put out for the $10 sale is different than what is available generally. especially the clutches & pashminas. and there will be many more designs of the costume jewelry and watches made available.

I do, however wait until they advertise their clearance/blow out sale. I can almost always get a cute sundress or top on sale.

The tee shirts hold up. We usually get the 10 or 2 for 20 ones and they hold up after quite a few washes! The other $10 or as I call it Crap Sale, have not found anything worthwhile.
