bluelagoon543 Posted September 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2017 Hey all, Pardon my novice question here, this will be our first cruise with a baby on a big family reunion cruise so not really sure the guidelines. LO will be 7 months on our Eastern Carribean sailing with NCL (we don't get if it gets re-routed), so she meets the min age requirements. But when they say no infants under 12 months for 3 or more days at sea, they mean sea days (travel to port) days right? Just doubting myself a little and the call centre is backed up with Irma callers.

gingersvp Posted September 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2017 You can't have 3 consecutive sea days - it's a liability issue with not being close enough to a port if there are problems. 3 sea days are fine, provided they're spaced out between port days. For example, you wouldn't be able to do a transatlantic.
cb at sea Posted September 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2017 That's right....6 mos. is the minimum age for Caribbean cruises. There are seldom more than 2 sea days in a row. If the ship is re-routed, they won't put you off the ship!
