Another good thing that Viking does

I have read quite a few comments that state that Viking can compare with a Ford car and other river or ocean cruises can compare with a BMW. However, while I have not cruised on Viking ocean ships, I have cruised four times on Viking River ships and not once were we disappointed. Viking provides wonderful experiences, and is extremely efficient in what they do. While I have cruised on the likes of Regent, Seabourn and Silversea, what I think most impresses me about Viking, as it relates to Cruise Critic, is that they obviously have someone who reads the messages on the boards and often responds to comments. While I may have missed something, I have yet to see any of the 5 star cruise lines responding to cruise critic comments, particularly if there is a problem. I think that it says something about a company who, apparently, cares what people are saying about their company, so that they can address any issues or concerns.

I agree with your comments completely. I have also taken 4 Viking cruises and look forward to more. I wish they would sail Lake Como.

Anyway, what is the point? Viking passengers should never feel insecure.

I haven't even left for my trip yet and I can agree 100%. Their customer service so far has been wonderful and so refreshing. I love that they care whether we are satisfied or not. Can't wait for my trip!!
