Any experience with booking air through HAL?

We are looking to fly Business class to AMS for next summer. I am aware of the need to work through our TA as HAL does not allow direct access to their flights. Anyone used HAL air and was the price sufficiently less to warrant the cumbersome need to work with both our TA and HAL directly?

Also any thoughts on when we should book? I know no one has a crystal ball but this is our first time booking business class where the number of seats are limited and we realize summer may be busier than other times of year.

Often, I find my best air fares by asking my travel agent to book the flights through HAL. Of course, you must first do your own research and determine if the price quoted by HAL is better than what you can book on your own.

Cumbersome in booking? Not at all. It is your travel agent with whom you will only being dealing.
