Punta del Este port to Casa Pueblo (and return)

We will be in Punta del Este on X Infinity in January 2018.

What is the recommended way to get from the port, to Casa Pueblo?

We are travellers who like to get up and moving early, so happy to catch public or hop on / off bus , or taxi, whatever is recommended.

I will also likely be checking on our roll call to see if anyone is interested in a ride share, We thought we would try and get out there ASAP for some hours, before returning to the beach area in the afternoon. It sounds amazing.

I think a taxi will be the only way to get to Casapueblo from PdE.

Thanks Scottish, that's the way it's seeming . I am also looking into whether vans are available for hire , with a driver.
