Need info on the Merrytime stateroom christmas tree

I see that Christmas decorations have been added to Gifts & Amenities. Any idea how big the Christmas tree is? Is it a real tree or plastic?

True. I thought it might be real if it were tabletop sized. Hopefully they come out with more details on this. There's literally nothing on the website other than the price :(

I don't know for sure, but I believe it's pretty small (fits on top of the desk).

I will try to upload pictures in the near future but yes it is a live "tree". We did a B2B2B totaling 11 nights over Christmas and New Years a couple of years ago. The "ornaments" are basically Disney figures attached with wire ties, not really ornaments except the red mickey head if I recall correctly. We sailed twice over Christmas since then and my son and I just took a small Santa Mickey tree with us instead.

Just be aware, if it's actually a live plant/tree, you won't be able to take it off the ship with you at the end of the cruise.

Hey Shmoo, that's what I was going to say. USDA regulations do not allow you to bring any live plants off the ship.

I'm ok with not bringing it home, I just love the smell of a live tree. It smells like Christmas!

Yeah, looks more like a plant (shaped a bit like a christmas tree).

Thanks for the picture ... it's gorgeous! I just ordered one for our Dec 11 Merrytime cruise ... that's too bad it can't be taken off the ship... I live in Florida so could just put it in my car at Port Canaveral and drive it home... it will enjoy it aboard ship though. Thank you. Maryjo
