Four traveling. Hosted table?

I get that hosted tables are designed to have individuals or couples traveling alone to meet and dine with other people. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience on multiple nights of two Seabourne cruises.

But our next cruise will be with another couple. This is their first seabourne cruise. Is it inappropriate or unreasonable to ask if the four of us could be invited to a hosted table one evening?

No, not at all. In fact if you have your reservations linked by your TA in my experience if an invitation to a hosted table is extended to one couple it will be extended to the other couple as well.

We had a similar situation recently on Encore and sometimes it worked better than others. Whatever the arrangements you reach before boarding, I'd recommend you confirm them with the staff at Seabourn Square once you embark.
