Hotels ~ New Orleans with kids

The Port is right on the River before the Crescent Connection bridge. Any hotel in the French Quarter (FQ), Central Business District (CBD), or Warehouse district is close to the port. Pick based on price and amenities.

Hotels in the CBD and Warehouse are generally quieter and are closer to the port. FQ hotels are generally more historic, but can be noisier.

Last time we cruised out of NO, we stayed at the Hilton Riverside, which has a streetcar stop (on the line that goes to the FQ) on site and is an easy walk from many, many restaurants.

I also really like the Sheraton New Orleans and the Omni Royal Crescent. The CBD and Warehouse district also have several hotels with free breakfast, etc... (breakfast, wifi).
