Clarea Posted September 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2017 Best place to ask this is on the West Coast Departures forum: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=

Rare Keith1010 Posted September 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2017 You have two choices: You can book it in advance. Or you can call when you are there as there are many of them there. I would highly recommend booking it in advance. Keith
6rugrats Posted September 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2017 OP - did you consider asking Super Shuttle?
Rare LHT28 Posted September 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2017 if you wait until you are there you may have to wait for a spot They have a list of those that prebooked they will get priority but you might be able to get on one of the shuttles just depends if you want to take a chance that you may be waiting for a spot
Underwatr Posted September 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 22, 2017 We booked a Super Shuttle from San Pedro to LAX. We cleared immigration sooner than expected so the Super Shuttle dispatcher just put us on the next van heading up.

Rare Keith1010 Posted September 22, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 22, 2017 Yes and they have not responded yet The answer I gave is how it works but not sure what you mean about not responding. You can call them on the telephone. Keith
Alstongrove Posted September 22, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 22, 2017 I would not use super shuttle Not only were they late on pickup Very expensive & unconcerned We'll never use them again But Yes reserved ahead of time I would use Uber Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Jimnbigd Posted September 22, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 22, 2017 We have booked a private Super Shuttle for our own group (usually 10 of us) from Houston to Galveston and back, several times. The trip from Houston to Galveston was always great -- on time at our Houston north airport hotel. The trip back after the cruise, not great. Always late -- sometimes more than 2 hours late. We won't use Super Shuttle for a private group anymore. I have used them for shared rides only from airports to my home, and they were fine with no reservation required. But I suspect a reservation would be best for getting to and from the ship -- otherwise they might be full and not have any room for you.
Ashland Posted September 22, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 22, 2017 You should consider Uber or check out prices on RoadRunner Shuttle.
Sea Hag Posted September 24, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 24, 2017 I would always book something like this in advance, but that's just me - the demon planner.
