if you wait until you are there you may have to wait for a spot

They have a list of those that prebooked they will get priority but you might be able to get on one of the shuttles

just depends if you want to take a chance that you may be waiting for a spot

We have booked a private Super Shuttle for our own group (usually 10 of us) from Houston to Galveston and back, several times.

The trip from Houston to Galveston was always great -- on time at our Houston north airport hotel.

The trip back after the cruise, not great. Always late -- sometimes more than 2 hours late.

We won't use Super Shuttle for a private group anymore.

I have used them for shared rides only from airports to my home, and they were fine with no reservation required.

But I suspect a reservation would be best for getting to and from the ship -- otherwise they might be full and not have any room for you.
