Are there any suggestions for transportation from Miami's port to Miami international? Price quotes?

Taxi - $27+tip, flat rate fare (ignore the meter). The ride takes about 15 minutes.

As mentioned, you would need to wait for Uber or Lyft, but could save about $10 or so off the flat rate cab fare. Your call.

what would you suggest. Our plane leaves on a Monday at 11:35, would it be best to self embark to get off the ship. Or would we have time the regular way. It is my daughter and I am and I worry about the heavy luggage. I do plan to just try to get a Taxi if that is the fastest way to the airport.

For your flight you need to be at MIA by about 10:00 - 9:30 would be better (TSA can be chaos). The taxi ride only takes about 15 minutes. As long as you let the cruise line know about your flight time and get a relatively low number you should be okay with regular departure from the ship. Enjoy one last breakfast in the MDR.

Have a leisurely breakfast when you have to leave your room at 8. Then leave the ship around 9. If you are assigned a later than 9 o clock departure, the front desk can give you an earlier time. Just take a cab.
