What's up diving wise with Nassau, Carnival, and Stuart Cove?

So I notice that Carnival is currently not listing dive excursions in Nassau.

Any knowledge about what is going on with them and Stuart Cove?

I see the SUB adventure listed but not the dives.

I am interested since 4 of us have a two tank dive booked thru Carnival in August.

We are paid in full for the excursion, but I hate to think they would come back at the last minute and say the excursion was not available.

Thoughts?

Wow, that's interesting. I remember seeing it a month or so ago when we were looking at another cruise specifically for diving new ports. I wonder if it isn't there as they are renegotiating the contract. You have a few months, I would just keep checking back to see if it is there again.

  • 3 months later...

Probably a money issue Carnival wants to pay less and Stuart Cove's wants more. The cruise lines make money on both ends of excursions. They charge above the going rate and pay the excursion operators maybe 75% of their normal rate.
