super shuttle

We will be disembarking at San Pedro off Island Princess and need to go to LAX after cruise. Does super shuttle need advance booking

I would book it in advance. You don't have to and you can call when you are there but I would go ahead and get your name on the reservation for it.

SuperShuttle will have several vans lined up at the terminal and they try to load by the airlines people are using. They usually ignore reservation times and when a van is loaded, they head for the airport.

It doesn't hurt to have reservations, but they aren't necessary, so you won't need to be there at a set time .

The last info I got is they charge 17 dollars per person.

For about $25 more than a shuttle, you can book a private town car.:)

The OP was asking about Super Shuttle and not about a private vehicle. :)

The amount of additional cost will depend on how many people would be doing the shuttle and what private company is being used. :)
