How far is the train stop from the port in Seward

Hello all,

We are on the Zaandam Sept 10th departing Seward, AK. How far is the port from where the Alaska Railroad stops in Seward. I was wondering if its walk-able ( with luggage of course) or if we should take a cab. Thanks in advance for your help/comments

We were on the Alaska Rail from Anchorage to Seward. The train ends at the port. Only a very short walk into the cruise terminal.

5 minutes, you can see the ship. No problem with rolling my bag.

An easy flat walk unless it’s pouring. There is also a free shuttle that runs between the depot and cruise terminal. Departs every 20-30 minutes or so. It also goes into town.

I used Google Maps. It took me about 2 minutes maximum to determine that it is only 0.5 miles. Really easy.
