Cancel excursion pd with gift card

i wish to cancel an excursion for 2 and book a different excursion. The one I want to book is less expensive than the one I want to cancel. I paid for the excursion with a gift card. Will I get the difference ($60) back? Thanks

You wont get the cash back it should be OBC or the balance on another gift card.

This is how ours was handled....unfortunately the gift card came in the mail after we had already left on vacation. But we were not too sad since there's always a chance in the future to use Carnival gift cards!

I cancelled my excursion 3 weeks ago, which I originally paid with gift cards, and still have not received a refund. Guess I will have to make a call :-(

No, you will receive the full value of the excursion you are cancelling in the form of a gift card.

You will be expected to pay full price for the new excursion.
