Camp Ocean Open Times on Port Days

I'm considering an excursion that I can't take my daughter on because she doesn't meet the minimum age (by just 1 month but it is what it is, I guess). How early does Camp Ocean open on port days if I decided to leave her there? The excursion starts at 8:00 and I know on sea days they don't open that early. She's 4 and honestly would be happy to stay in camp by the way.

Hi! I am assuming that Camp Ocean runs the same way on all of the ships. During my Carnival Magic cruise last month, the schedule was:

Aruba port time (1pm-10pm) - Camp Ocean opened at 10am

Kids under 2 opened at 8am

Amber Cove (8am-4pm) - Camp Ocean opened at 7:30am

Grand Turk (8am-4pm) - Camp Ocean opened at 7:30am

Have you considered booking the same excursion but though a private provider? They likely will accommodate your child if you would like her to go.

Yes and I can't because they are contracted with Carnival to only book through the cruise line for cruise passengers. I actually talked to the owner of the company and he said he would be fine with me bringing my daughter but I'd have to see if the shore excursions desk on board would make an exception and I'm not sure how likely that is.
