Sailing MSC for first time this fall. I am rated on Princess and Carnival which gets me freebies, gratis interior cabin and casino cash. Want to contact whoever manages MSC casinos to see what they might be able to do.

Anyone have insights on their casinos or what they offer medium rollers like me?

Hi muggo

We took our first MSC cruise last year on MSC Splendida and before we went i asked the agent if there were any incentives he could offer from the casino as we were Blue Chip Club and Hot status with NCL Casino's at sea.

I had to send them a win Loss statement which i obtained from NCL and with that they gave me a 30% discount on the cruise.

At the end of the cruise i was given a MSC 'On-Board Reward' voucher which is a 30% discount voucher and on board credit of 100 euro for my next cruise.

Thanks dollydash. I have win/loss statements from Ocean Players Club and the Venetian. Is there a different department or email contact for casino,or will the main number get me who/what I need? I booked directly with no TA.

Hi muggo.

I booked direct with MSC UK and it was the agent who got in touch with the casino department, so i have no contact details.

This is the email i received from them if this is of any help to you

I have been in touch with my colleagues including our Casino Sales & Marketing Manager who have advised that is potential that we could certainly try and do something for you

They have advised me the folllowing:

30% discount on the next cruise if criteria is met based on volume and length of playing

o Cash bask (Rebate) to be enjoyed on the next cruise if they qualify for our MSC On-Board Reward program (above criteria)

o Special invitation, free of charge, to Exclusive Onboard Casino Events

My colleagues has also asked me to ask you if you are able to provide us with a Win/Loss statement from your previous cruises with our competitors (NCL and Celebrity) to check whether we can award any further discount to you?

Let's see. The casino was right under the piano bar... It was smoke free. It was very spread out with not many machines. Almost no one was playing. The staff followed you around. And the payout was near 0. Not my best casino experience!

I'm not surprised. I'm having a hard time believing that MSC will recognise and reward those who belong to casino clubs from other places/cruiselines. It's just that MSC doesn't even have their own casino club. Any points accumulated onboard cannot be carried over to another cruise.

I mean no offence to dollydosh as I accept that you're sharing your experience here. Did you really get 30% discount from MSC based on play on NCL? You must be a big spender, so, for MSC to want you onboard badly enough to upfront a 30% discount. Fair play to you for asking for, and getting it!

If you go through Urcomped.com and show them Any offers you've gotten from any cruise lines like Free cabin, BB, Premier or Ultra offers MSC is giving people a Free cruise. And it's 100% Free. No port fees or taxes

They do require a $200 deposit pp But they give that back as OBC

People on the Carnival Casino FB site just got off the free cruise and loads of others got their cruises and have them booked already

Great review there as well about the ship n casino

The casino is Non smoking but there's a cigar bar right near it

Also there's No Craps table at all

Sailed on MSC Seaview in OCT, first time on MSC and have to say I really enjoyed the experience. I thought the casino staff and management were exceptional. They always remembered my name and the waiters always had a drink ready for me.

received letter with free cruise on the last day and sent it to urcomped who organised a trip on the new bellisimo in April.
