Am looking into this itinerary for the first time and am alittle overwhelmed. Any and all information on itinerary would be appreciated.

Am looking for the "best" itinerary amongst the three lines listed above. Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Also looking to go the first half of October when I do go. Is that a good time?

The last time we went to Canada/NE on the Regal Princess was on the 2nd week of October last year. First half of October is also ideal for the fall foliage.

We did go September 22 to October 1st 2016 - that was too early for the fall foliage.

It was unfortunate that you missed it. But the ports are nice too. We travel yearly the Canada/NE cruise on the 2nd week of Oct. as we just drive to the port from home.

We are booked on NCL Dawn, Boston to Quebec City. We liked going out of Boston rather than NYC and ending in Quebec City. Cruise has more ports in Canada.

It really depends on these things:

1.) the port you wanted to departure from (NYC/Boston)

2.) the ports you wanted to see on the cruise trip (Halifax, Quebec City, etc)

3.) the cost of the cruise as well as if there are any promotions

4.) ship activities / pool size

5.) dining options

Are you still interested in finding this cruise?? While reading your posts from 8/20 to present, there was a post on 9/5 where you wrote you booked a Princess cruise for October, 2018. Is this correct, and you're no longer looking for the cruise above??
