I’m looking to go away in November 2022.
unfortunately Marellas cruise itinerary only goes as far as October 2022.

Does anyone have any reliable intel, with regards their publishing itineraries forward of October 2022 please ?

Due to cruise 8th july greek mystic and due to pay the full amount on april 20th. I think there is little to no chance of this going ahead so wanted to move it to next year. Unable to do this as wont let me amend booking. Seems they want me to pay in full for this cruise or lose my £400 deposit. Losing faith with marella . Doubtful i will cruise with them again as bad customer service seems the norm. Anybody on here had the same problem?

Cruises cancelled departing on or before 30 April 2021

My first ever Marella cruise has now been cancelled. I was due to sail on the Discovery II on 28 April 2021 for 9 nights. Originally got a good price and, although the cancellation was obviously expected, I am really disappointed. Cruises later in the year, or next year, seem really expensive and so I will probably just take a full refund, unless Marella agree to “Lift and Shift” to a similar cruise at a later date at no extra cost like Royal Caribbean have been doing.

We are looking at booking this for a cruise in 2022, however it’s location just below the buffet is slightly concerning.

Help please - Are aft balcony cabins deck 8 on Explorer 2 ok, looking on Marella website they are cheaper than midship cabins - is there a reason ?

Has anyone received a cancellation of a cruise in March 2021? We are booked on Explorer Colourful Coasts, 02 Mar 2021 and just wondering when we will hear if this is cancelled? Due to the current circumstances with COVID I am fully prepared for a cancellation, but just would like to know one way or another. Need to prepare to break this to the family! 😥

Copied from BBC news website regarding EHIC and it’s replacement the new GHIC card.

UK residents can apply for a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) to access emergency medical care in the EU when their current EHIC card runs out.

Under a new agreement with the EU, both cards will offer equivalent healthcare protection when people are on holiday, studying or travelling for business.

This includes emergency treatment as well as treatment needed for a pre-existing condition.

The new GHIC card is free and can be obtained via the official GHIC website.

Current European Health Insurance Cards (EHIC) are valid as long as they are in date, and can continue to be used when travelling to the EU.

You don't need to apply for a GHIC until your current EHIC expires.

People should apply at least two weeks before they plan to travel to ensure their card arrives on time.

Dream to be retiree & cancellation of Summer 2021 USA sailings

I have read on Marella official FB page the news that Dream is to be retired from the fleet immediately. They have therefore made the decision to cover its upcoming sailings for summer 2021 with Discovery instead, therefore cancelling the new USA summer sailings Discovery was due to sail.

There is no update on Dream’s & Discovery’s planned winter 2021/22 sailings.

Discovery, quick cabins question please

Not sailed on the Discovery before, booking with the family to go next year, only ever sailed on the smaller older ships.

We usually try to be a little higher up, but this time we are looking to get 2 outside cabins next to each other midships on deck 2 (2566, 2568).

Basically are they alright????

I know we're not cruising/holidaying at the moment but has anyone given thought to renewing their passport for travel to Europe from 1 January 2021. This is not getting much publicity and couod catch people out..

Worth checking you have enough months left for travelling. It is an eye opener. Thought we were ok until April 2022 only to find our passports expire on 31 January 2021.

The Discovery 1 will be getting a refurbishment whilst she is laid up. The company carrying this out posted on LinkedIn yesterday showing the lorries leaving with all the materials
