Text with background color not editable due to missing button in edit post?

When I edit a post I just posted the window size for that is smaller than the one you originally have when you start writing a post. As a result the text background color button is not visible. Or at least not to me? So I was not able to change back the text background color when editing a post. Is this a bug/design error?

I’ve posted three new titles in the Norwegian Star Roll Calls grouping and one is incorrect so it needs removing but I can’t see how to do it. Could you remove the erroneous title please it is headed

I didn’t include the start date in that version. Afterwards I created an alternative heading including the start date. Please remove the Roll Call as titled just above.

Filtering Cruise Reviews by the Number of Stars Awarded?

Am I missing something or has the ability to filter the reviews for a ship by the number stars (i.e. I only want to see reviews where the reviewer awarded 2 stars) been removed?

If this is possible, could someone tell me how to do that? If this has been removed, could it be restored? I find it very helpful.

Why are the posts not in date order? It is difficult to read a post and then realize that it was written 6 months ago. The previous post was yesterday and the following post last week. I feel like it is now necessary to check when it was written before reading and then realize why the person is writing a obvious question. In my opinion, organization of posts dates would be more efficient. Has anyone posted this question before?

I have been out of Cruise Critic for a few years but just booked a new cruise in 2022.

I tried to log into the Cruise Critic ipad app but it doesn’t recognize me. I can log in on my desktop but that is so 1999.

Forums App on Android

The Forums App on Android (at least, I don't have any Apple products so I can't speak to that) is totally and completely broken. Every time I try to log in I get an error that says "Network Error, please try again later (get_config)" and the App closes, or else I get the same error but at the end it says (get_forum | Cruise Critic) and it stays on a blue screen within the app.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that hasn't fixed it, and it's been like this for a long time now, and I see a lot of complaints on the Play store page for the app of the same thing. Any word on when this will be fixed? I know the forums are mobile friendly, but reading in a browser window on my small phone screen is not nearly as nice as the way the forum works in the app when the app works.

I’m sure this information exists somewhere, but I haven’t been able to find it. I’ve been hosting the Roll Call for the first time for several months now. We have an active band growing with a recent increase in numbers. I have produced a spreadsheet for it and it’s available for members to edit accordingly. My problem is that at several new entrants I get asked how they can access the spreadsheet. Is there a way that I can automatically include the link to the spreadsheet on all of my posts? As I said at the start, apologies if there is an easy way to get the info, but any help is gratefully accepted.

I'm not sure when this stopped, but I just noticed that there have been a number of new postings to the boards that I follow and I have not received any emails for months on any of these. I have checked my settings and I am set to receive immediate notification.

Hi,

I am trying to insert a dynamic count down ticker from Cruise-Ships.com into my signature. I can paste in a PNG file but that is not dynamic (updates days left).

I tried inserting the link provided on cruise-ships.com for Cruise Critic, but that either just comes in as text, or if you use the URL link then it is just a regular link.
