  1. Unfortunately, it sucks, but per the cruise contract they are allowed to change the ports. I've always said, if there is a destination you have your heart set on, book a land tour there.
  2. I wouldn't consider the Hampton Inn Chelsea an airport hotel. But if they have a shuttle....
  3. Kosher for Passover is harder to do. Even a Kosher kitchen will need to properly cleaned in order to be able to provide Kosher for Passover food. So while the caterer can provide Kosher meals year round, they might not do Kosher for Passover. With that said, my guess is those who are cruising over Passover on a non chartered group, are probably ok with what the ship will serve.
  4. This is assuming the caterer that Royal uses can even provide Kosher for Passover meals. Generally speaking, Kosher meals are basically frozen dinners. Unless they arrange to Kosher a galley and have it unavailable for the cruise to anyone else, and bring the appropriate food/dishes/etc on themselves. This can be very expensive.
  5. Just to note, unless you are in need of an accessible cabin, please don't book it. There are plenty of people who can't cruise without it. Now, if you book a guarantee and get it assigned to you, that's a different matter.
  6. What time does the ship leave? That would be cutting it too close for me.
  7. The airport Hampton Inn is actually down the road in Revere. There really aren't any easily accessible restaurant options over there. $200-$300 a night is normal for Boston. Unfortunately, October is high season due to colleges, leaf peeping, and all that other stuff. Later in October is Head of the Charles, in which case you can just forget it.
  8. Princess has been converting Churchill's to a non-smoking venue on some ships.
  9. Generally, wheelchair accessible cabins are larger to accommodate a wheelchair.
  10. There is no way to tell for Bermuda. This is the first year the Jewel is doing the Bermuda run from Boston, swapped with the Pearl. Because of the extended time in port, the ship does a bit of maintenance, painting, lifeboats, etc. It will all depend on what needs to be done. One week it can dock port, the following week, starboard.
  11. I don't think anyone knows at this point.
  12. It doesn't matter. The ship will be turned. Plus what one side sees going in, the other side will see going out.
  13. Why don't you just hold the 4 year old's medallion? I can't imagine there being a situation where the 4 year old won't be with you or in the kid's club.
  14. There will be a spot outdoors where you can enjoy your cigars.
