  1. Just got confirmation from Scenic that we will be skipping our embarkation port in Nuremburg and get bussed from the airport there to Passau. They will bus us in to do the excursions though and they are paying for the transfer from the Nuremburg airport to Passau. Our cruise is from July 10 to the 17th

  3. I've been searching for awhile and maybe it's because I'm at the end of our planning stages, but I am hoping to get an answer here as my searches are just causing me grief! I am trying to figure out how to get to the airport at the end of our cruise using the trains. Our flight leaves at 2:15 so we have no play time unfortunately. Can someone guide me to the correct sites to book the correct trains to get us there? Thanks in advance.

  5. I have searched here and on TA but have not found any recent and updated info for transportation to get the beach area of Palombaggia. Any insights from fellow cruisers?

  9. Finally got all credits, FCC applied and booked our August cruise on the Epic out of Rome. Can't wait to go! Still think this will be the last time we sail with Norwegian though. At least using the phone for sure.
  10. Not sure what they are now, but Choir of Men was AMAZING! One of the best shows we have seen on any cruise line.
  11. We are having a hell of a time right now. We are trying to get our FCC from the Escape applied and all they keep doing is making our cruise fare lower but not equal to the credit. We have made many attempts to get a new person but to no avail. Once this situation is figured out and this cruise is done we will probably not use NCL again. Sick of the horrible customer service. Sailed many times with many cruise lines and NEVER had this experience.
  12. I know we are not the only ones for sure. It's just sad because as I said they had great intentions when the Escape grounded but the follow through has left a very bad taste in my mouth for sure.
  13. Thanks for everyone's input into this. We are actually considering a tour through Viator that will let us see Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii.
  14. Let me start off by saying that we are familiar with all forms of travel and have cruised on several different lines. We are pretty relaxed traveller and have an easy going attitude towards those travelling plans. We know that there are times when things don't always go as planned and that is to be expected when travelling anywhere. We were actually on the Escape when it was grounded in the Dominican recently and thought that Norwegian did a pretty good job handling that situation. The communication broke down with getting everyone on an airplane, but I'm not sure that was Norwegian's doing per se. Having said that, we have been trying to use our FCC to book another cruise for the summer, as I work in education and the only time I can go would be the summer. At first, the people that I talked to assured me that the credit was indeed in my Latitudes account, even though I could not see it there. We were getting quotes for different scenarios of a particular cruise. Since we did that, we have not been able to get the proper price according to what we were originally told we would be getting. The initial people that take our call are quite pleasant and polite. It is when they transfer us to the "Cruise Specialists" that they become rude and impatient with us. They don't even listen to what we are trying to tell them in regards to our situation. They interrupt us when we explain what is happening. I have never been so disheartened with using a service as I am with the Cruise Specialists for Norwegian. Once this credit is used we will probably never sail with them again.
