Going on our first ever back-to-back cruise next year so I have a few questions for those lucky enough to have done this before. 1) We have the same cabin for both cruises .. I assume we can leave our luggage in the cabin? 2) Do we disembark on the first cruise (minus luggage) then embark as usual again for the second? 3) Will we be able to assist our elderly parents off the ship with their luggage after the first cruise? 4) Assume new sign/sail cards? 5) Would we have to wait until 1:30 to re-enter our cabin? 6) Anything else BTB first-timer should know? thank you

Good question about what meds they have available for covid. Anxiously awaiting responses. And does anyone know what they charge for an office visit? And for the covid meds if available? I contracted norovirus about 10 years ago onboard and it was horrible! Sicker than I’d ever been. Only lasted a couple days. Medical gave me meds which helped tremendously. I quarantined in my cabin and was brought bland food (all in plastic and disposable dinnerware) for my stomach issue. Rice. Chicken broth, jello, etc. …. Which was great when super sick and needing to eat. We did get free movies and onboard credit. But here is the thing ….. we were never charged a penny for anything!! Must have been an error on their part because we waited for a bill or for it to show on our account. It never did. But again, we were treated very well and appreciated it tremendously.

If you come down with the flu, norovirus or Covid while onboard .. will they let you stay in your own cabin to quarantine or do they move you somewhere else?

Anyone familiar with being dropped off and picked up by a family member at the terminal? Our son lives in PA and will be dropping us off and then picking us up upon our return. Is there a designated lane or location for drop-off passengers? And for passengers to be picked up? thanks

I love the hard copy … bring my highlighter and highlight away. I prefer to go by guest services (or other locations) and grab the old school printed paper copy. I am disappointed that we have to keep our cell phones with us …. It’s vacation and we want to get away from feeling the need to have it on or near us 24/7. Back in the day we’d turn it off, put it in the safe and await the non-stop jingles of all the message notifications missed once we turned our phones back on. Always fun listening to everyone’s ring tones during debarkation. LOL

Yes, that is simple …. unless the phone rings and rings and no one answers! And……simple questions like this on this board often come with replies containing more details and comments that are always interesting.

The “Antigen 2 days prior” test is the BinaxNOW kit that you perform at home while connected to someone online and receive results in 15 minutes??? We are testing at 4am (Ohio time) on Saturday prior to our flight ….. and boarding our ship at noon (San Francisco time) on Monday heading to Alaska with one short stop in Canada (which adds another level of frustration and worry with the whole ArriveCAN issue). I am pretty certain 🤷🏻‍♀️ Carnival is sticking to the testing TWO DAYS prior meaning TIME STAMP DOESN’T MATTER 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 If it does we would be a few hours short. 🤯🤯🤯. We want to get our negative test results before boarding a plane.
