Hi we in Cabo early January and we where on a sea going yacht. We saw whales. The captian actively looked for them. I went down stairs to the bath room and a whale breached really close to the boat I could see the tail out of the bedroom window. No one upstairs saw it. I get sea sick and I donot remeber having any trouble. But the sea can change from Hour to hour. Also depending if there is a storm brewing. We enjoyed the excurrsion. I also remember we were late back to the dock and were on the last tender back to the ship. It was a short time in Cabo. I do remember people complining they were sea sick on the ship( Island Princess) and the sea was like glass. Not rough at all . We did this pre covid so things may have changed. Maybe try asking on a current roll call for the same cruise to see if anyone is planning to do the excurrsion and can post there experiences with the excurrsion. If you decide to go hopefully the seas are calm and you see lots of whales.

The reason you can not pre oder water is that water from the ship is not allowed in New zeland due to bio security rules. The first port in New Zeland they check your bags before you are allowed to leave the ship. This happened pre covid so not sure if it still what happens. We just got water once we where in New Zealand.

Both things I am going to recommend where done prior to covid so things may have changed. My husband and I both went deep sea fishing in Grand Turk for barricoda which we each where able to land and have our pictures taken with the fish. Also kind of neat to see th Ruby princess over the top of the trees. At Princess cays we went surf fishing it was fun as well. Both were booked through Princess not sure if either is still offered. Both were a chance to do some fishing and have fun at the same time. Have fun planning your trip.

Hi have never sailed in a mini suite. But have had an aft balcony. The views are fantastic. The shower is small but manageable. With a mini suite you have to step into a bath tube which I would not want to do in rough seas and the tubs are quite tall. Not sure if there are grab bars to hold onto getting in and out. How much time do you spend in the shower. The mini suites are on the side of the ship. With an aft room you get to see shore and ocean at the same time. My vote is for aft for the sceneary and for wild life site tings. Have a wonderful cruise.

To use a Princess transfer that gets you to the airport for a late flight you need to pick a transfer that has a princess tour that drops you at the airport. Your luggage will go on the bus with you. You need to collect your luggage in the terminal at the end of the cruise and take it with you to the bus and it will be underneath the bus. The listing of the transfers with tours should be listed in the shore excurrsion on the last day of the cruise. This is where they were found pre covid. Hope this helps clear up some of the mystery of the transfer to the airport.

Pre covid we did a Princess excussion to Rome we were on our way to Rome a little after 7am. Also there are Princess excurssion that are about 10.5 hours long so they need to get people on there way for those. Check with your tour operator to make sure they will wait if you are late leaving the ship.

Hi just got an email from a cruise vaction planned at Holland America thanking me for my loyalty. Have never cruised with Holland Americ Just wondering if they are going to merge the 2 cruise lines into one. Wondering if they are trying to get people who where not happy with there last princess cruise to try them instead to try to and keep the money under the carnival bnner. Any one else getting emails.

Hi have only cruised Princess. And found our last cruise before covid hit in Newzeland and the food just wasn't that good. Ate only in the dining room and the odd breakfast and lunch in the buffet. We have stayed mainly in balcony cabins and once I a suite which was fantastic. But not in our budget to do all of the time. We like to visit different ports and like to do all day excurssions. How is Oceania different than Princess. What drinks are included if you donot get the beverage package. Have read over the web site and am having trouble getting a feel for what it is like on ship. Also are there formal nights and what is the dress code for every day. Thanks for any help you can provide. It is hard to jump to anther unfamiliar cruise line.

Hi are you sure the money you paid was put on your March3rd craise and not this new one that just appeared on your account. I would still check your credit card used to pay for the March 3 cruise to make sure it is not been compromised. It would be awful to be away and find out your card has been compromised. Hope every thing gets resolved easily.

Hi this sounds like a scam maybe call your credit card company that you have last used for a Princess cruise. It may be still on file and they are charging the deposit to this account. And check and put a fraud alter on your account. If a cruise is not paid for it will automatically cancel but you could loose a deposit that you did not authorize being put through your credit card account. Hope you get this solved without alot of problems.

Hi we did a private car and guide in St Petersburg and it was fabulous. Pre covid. When we did this I remember giving a form to the shore excurrsions desk with a list of places we wanted to go. We had to pay entrance fees and we used the coat check at the Hermitage and at another museum we visited. Also we paid for lunch for the guide. We meet our guide inside the cruise terminal after Russian imgration. At the end of the day we were dropped off outside the cruise terminal and tipped the guide. And then went through Russian imagination again to re board the ship. I hope this helps I know it is a different port but I am sure the way it is done is the same. Hope you have a fantastic day in both places we never got to go to either due to unrest in Turkey. We got to see Kotor which was an awesome sail in and out. Enjoy your cruise. Ps. We had local currency with us to pay the entrance fees and for the tip for the guide.

There were foot stools on the Majestic Princess in a D4 pre covid so I assume a new ship would be the same.

Maybe check the airline web site you are flying into Australia with. Alsocheck the Australia gov web site to make sure you have all your documents that are needed to enter Australia.

Hi I did this on a cruise precovid I had the amount of the foreign currency currency that i cashed credited to my on board account I kew we would never use it again and it helped to lower our bill at the end of the cruise. Not sure how bad the the exchange was as it was converted to Australian dollars and I had bought with Canadian dollars.
