Here are a few of the ports we are stopping at this winter. Can anyone tell me if they have been what their favourite activity is at any of these?
Grenada, St Barts, St Vincent, Guadalupe and Martinique
Thanks
I am upgrading to the cocktails drink package because I do not drink wine or beer. Husband is happy to drink wine and beer at lunch and dinner but may want a before dinner drink in our cabin. Not trying to rip anyone off, but I'm not a rule breaker.
Feels like I have read 6 bottles per person. 6 bottles per cabin. Wine only. Embarkation port only. Every port visited. Hard liquor okay but to be drunk in cabin only.
First timer on Oceania in November.
Thank you
We have booked our first Oceania cruise this fall on Insignia. I am not upset about the price including wine and beer at lunch and dinner, although I drink neither of those refreshments. But DH does and will enjoy. I will most likely upgrade to the package which includes cocktails as that is what I enjoy drinking. As another cruise line was going to charge me $70 per day for a drink package on our Alaskan cruise in May 2023, it feels like a great deal to only have to pay $30 for my daily cocktails. And that is for as many as I want (or can drink).
I do enjoy dressing in cocktail dresses for dinner each evening. Will I feel overdressed in the MDR in a cocktail dress every evening? I hope not as I just went out and bought another one. Not overly fancy but a little fancy in my books. It is one of the things I enjoy most about cruising.
Starting to get excited for our cruise.
We are about to sail on R ship late this fall for our first experience with Oceania. It is nice to read so many comments about the small bathrooms so that we will be well prepared for that. Overall does the cabin itself feel a suitable size.? We booked late and only took an ocean view as I do better with lower midship cabins. We plan on staying on the ship for some of the port days. How do you enjoy a day on board an R class ship? PS. my bathroom at home is very small so I don't think it will bother me.
I have been reading topics for couple of days and haven't seen anything regarding dressing for dinner. Is it long pants, collared shirts and no sandals for men? Or dress shorts and collared shirts? or Mens sandals are okay?
Not trying to start a thread fighting over dress codes please. Just looking for information.
