I’m looking for an Alaskan cruise. Preferably one that sails out of Seattle. I’m looking for different ports than the average usual ones. I’d like to try something different. Anybody have any suggestions?

With flights as screwy as they are these days it seems safer to arrive a day early rather than risk missing the ship. Is there a good place to stay in Tampa? Do any of the hotels offer transportation to this ship?

Any opinions? From reading the reviews it sounds like deck 10 can get pretty noisy from the deck above. Some people rave about the aft facing and others didnt prefer the engine noise and the view of the wake. Whats most important to me is a larger deck, I appreciate your thoughts.

I am looking for an older, more classic style ship. No roller coasters, golf courses or race tracks on top. Do they even exist anymore? I used to work on the Emerald Seas as a purser. She was a classic.
