Happy New Year! Can anyone recommend a hotel very close to the Piraeus cruise port in Athens? I couldn't find any information in the Ports of Call pages.

This is a very good place to stay. Great views and breakfast. Best of all it is an easy 5 minute walk with luggage to the OPT. Have stayed here many times

Are you talking about the “all included” cruise fare price? As opposed to the cruise only price. With the added price you get basic Wi-Fi, a classic drinks package and service charges included. I believe you can upgrade the Wi-Fi and drink package. I’m not sure if this is available for all sailings. Maybe someone else would know?

Do you mean the Ovation cruise 7th Dec? 7 nights, goes to Adelaide and Hobart. We also have 4 nights on Ovation to Eden booked. Next year we are doing the Greek Isles on Celebrity Infinity. 7 different ports in 7 days. I’m exhausted just writing about it.

So it seems the only scenario you would need COVID cover for is if you were unlucky enough to get COVID pneumonitis and need to be medically evacuated for a ventilator? As everyone needs to be vaxed the chances of this are slim.

I've been away for a while since my short trip on Ruby Princess the cruise before infamy in 2020.Took my daughters on a 3 night bonding cruise. I never thought I would cruise again and now have four more booked from December 2022 to April 2023. I logged back into Cruise Critic to find that "Meat pies" and "How are the Swans going" is still a thing! I recognize so many user names and it's like I have come home. I had COVID in April and survived 🙂 It wasn't great and had to have two weeks off work with a post viral chest infection. The consequence of asthma. To all you regulars, thankyou!
