Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I would love a drink card - the cheers package is not even break even for us, but give me the option of buying x drinks for a slight discount and I'd do that.
  2. What I find most interesting is there has been no mention of whether his belongings were still in his cabin. I mean, if he went overboard I doubt he packed and took his luggage with him. If he chose to sneak off or if someone carted him away wouldn't his luggage go with him?
  3. This is good info. Accessible cabins sellout fast. My husband is an amputee and we have those Amazon grab bars for other trips they work ok in a standard shower.
  4. There is usually one no sugar added dessert in the mdr. I've never been impressed with most of the buffet desserts, sugar or no.
  5. I tried searching and can't seem to put the right words in to find an answer. DH and I are doing our first B2B next February. Our PCP told me we won't have to go 'all the way out' or go through security. If we wanted to, how would we go about bringing the wine for our 2nd cruise on?
  6. We are looking at a transatlantic on Carnival Freedom in September 2023 and I happen to notice it is sailing back to port canaveral in late Oct. Unfortunately I can't take that much time off, but you would have about 3 weeks in between the two.
  7. We're looking into a repositiong cruise from Port Canaveral to Barcelona. We're thinking of spending 2 to 4 days after the cruise in Spain/Paris. Will Port parking allow us to leave our vehicle extra days to pick up when we return? What are the logistics to arrange that?
  8. Bitter n Blanc is my favorite dessert, but I need to try this confetti cheesecake! Escargot - would eat it every night Heuvos rancheros from blue iguana for breakfast with their green salsa I love the bone marrow from the steakhouse, but it appears to be gone on the latest menu I saw.
  9. We had a nice time on Elation. I found the ramps to board challenging and steep. We ate in MDR a few times and lido a few times but for breakfast for me it was always Blue Iquana. Lido for me has always been a typical buffet experience, some good, some mediocre and some bad. Staff was excellent. Fellow passengers were a mixed bag, but nothing outrageous.
  10. This web site can help: https://cruisespotlight.com/drink-package-calculator/
  11. I was thinking of reserving Cucina for Thanksgiving evening
  12. on the Magic in January, they had Chauteaau St. Michelle Reisling, one of my favorites. Got the bottle half price the first night,
  13. Can anyone respond to how accessible princess cay is with a wheelchair?
