  1. Viator has several sail/snorkel excursions in Aruba. We had a large party on the Jolly Pirates a few years back. https://www.jolly-pirates.com/
  2. This also happens when you don't shut and lock regular balcony doors. Built in design so AC isn't over taxed.
  3. A year from now we'll be prepping to get off the ship😀😕
  4. Well based on the website (albeit from 2017) $100 MX for 750ml bottle is what they charge not $100 US. Maybe you or your son can contact the distillery and see if there's a US distributor. https://licoresfrutaleslosreyes.wordpress.com/2017/10/01/primera-entrada-del-blog/coco/
  5. On Trip Advisor there's listing for Grand Turk Sea Glass Adventure. You'll see it if you google sea glass Grand Turk.
  6. Might not be any consolation to you but Hacienda Tequila is available in the US at major liquor stores, like Total Wine
  7. My understanding is for ala carte restaurants, it's up to $20 per day not per restaurant, but $20 can't be split between ala carte restaurants on the same day. However, we have used UDP at two cover charge restaurants on the same day. Example: Giovanni's for lunch and Chops for dinner.

    Wind

Depends on size of ship and whether or not you are docking in Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay. Large Carnival ships do get cancelled if winds are too strong for Mahogany Bay. But Coxen hole is a different configuration and unless there are several ships scheduled there, docking is possible with wind.
  9. Doesn't the balcony cabins alternate where the bed is located? Just find a cabin with the arrangement you want.

    Tours

Look up Native Choice for excursions. If you're using Native Choice, on your return try Catrina's by the pyramid. Most beach places in Mahaual serve similar food--tacos,fajitas, cerviche. Malacon 21, and La Chilangaloense are probably the best for walk on's along the middle of the malecon. Sulemar and Machos along the southern end are decent choices.. Lots of people like Krazy Lobster for the lobster. Skip the food in the port complex.
  11. Coffee is now Lavaza, not Seattle Best. But for those who don't drink the syrup stuff or lattess, the regular brew is decent. Not your top of the line fresh roasted French Press but not your maxwell House that was roasted months ago.
  12. That Cab at Chops isn't the best Andrew Peace does but reasonable value for by the glass with steak.
  13. I would doubt there are enough dining packages sold pre cruise to fill all restaurants. Exception would be Izumi, which tends to get pre-cruise booked quick enough as individuals, Diamonds, and Suite guests Hibachi hog..
  14. Outside of "magically" opening your cabin door without your S&S card, these are pretty useless. Many bars and restaurants have you take them off to use. Gets to be a bit of a pain in the wrist.
