  1. Oh that's to bad... I used them for our family cruise in Dec. They picked us up at Hobby Saturday night and dropped us off at our Galveston hotel no problem. They were waiting for us when we got off the plane. The next day they took us from the hotel to the port. They did indicate a range of times and were at the tail end of that range but we were still onboard by 11:00 am. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.
  2. Don't listen to the haters! Cats is awesome. If you aren't familiar with the story read the libretto before you board. Perhaps it'd make good reading while you are on your flight. It makes following the story while watching so much better. Fabulous costume and great singing and dancing.
  3. I have usually used Uber or Galveston Express but last time I used. Highroller By Shugg. They had great communication and were more than reasonable with the price.
  4. Yes they are put on your sea pass card. I have bought them a couple of times on the last few cruises. We were traveling with grand kids. When you scan/slide your card the screen will read back to you the amount left. It save 20% to prebook. The only downside is if you don't use it, you lose it. No refunds for unspent amount.
  5. https://www.newyorkfed.org/microeconomics/hhdc I would hope that is true too but I doubt it. The mentality that says "play now, pay later" has been a defining characteristic of modern consumer behavior for some time now.
  6. Vancouver Island is beautiful. I really hope you get great weather and can enjoy it. The old growth forests are amazing.
  7. This is going to be the big test. Lab tests and then how things work in the real world are too often significantly different. Ford's Electric vehicle has been very poorly received. It looks great and runs great but when you put it to work that's when it fails. When you start to haul the range decreases so significantly that the truck is useless. A truck really isn't a truck if you can't load the bed or pull a decent sized trailer. It'll be interesting to read the reviews on some of the truck websites I visit once vehicle hits the streets.
  8. As a long suffering Canucks fan it hope in the post season has been a longtime coming. The team is struggling a little with a few injuries right now but all should be clear come game 1 of the first series.
  9. I'm glad you are reaching the end of what has obviously been a terrible ordeal. You were so supportive of your mother and father in their last years you deserve a little bit of peace and joy. Hopefully, you are able to complete the move to FL soon. Don't worry about anger spilling over in onto CC. We all have our moments.
  10. I know several people who charge only at Superchargers. I think the cost is about double of the normal elctricity charge would be if you are charging at home. Your costs would still be substantially cheaper than paying CA gas prices.
  11. You can get a $7500 Fed rebate in the US right now on "some" EV's. Tesla Y is one of the ones getting the rebate and why we have considered it. We looked at the Ford Mustang mach-e but they lost there rebate for whatever reason and so Ford offered 0% financing in lieu of that. However, if you aren't financing or not financing very much of the purchase price you don't get much advantage from that.
