Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I have some OBC already showing. Does anyone know if I can use that credit toward VOOM? thanks, Jerie
  2. thanks for the clarification Ken- yes, I understand. Jerie
  3. Thank you Fiona MG. I will plug around and try to figure this out!
  4. Thank you FionaMG! I should have said - do I need to upload a picture of the passport. Will definitely get a picture of it from her to get all the info - good point! Hmm- looking at the ap - I can only see one cabin - mine - not the other one. Do you know if this is normal - we don't cruise until July. thanks again! Jerie
  5. Surgie, Thank you for asking this question! I haven't sailed on Royal Caribbean for a number of years, so checking in has definitely changed! I read that checking in on the app lets you pick your boarding time pretty quickly, vs on a computer you must enter everyone's information first. I like the idea of getting the boarding time on the app and then going to a computer to fill in all the info. My question - do you need a picture of passports - or just the information from the passport? I will be checking in my daughter who is sailing in my cabin - and she lives elsewhere so I won't have her actual passport with me. Further- I have booked 2 rooms - the other for my older daughter and her 2 kids - does anyone know if I will be able to check in everyone for both rooms at the same time? Wondering if my daughter will have to check herself and her kids in. thanks for any info! Jerie
  6. Hello, I am taking my 2 adult daughters and 2 grandkids on a 4 night Catalina / Ensenada cruise this summer. There were no connecting 2 person / 3 person cabins available - so we are next door to each other. I am wondering if anyone has had experience getting the balcony partition opened between cabins - this would be an easy way to get back and forth between cabins - checking on the kids when they go to bed early. We are midship on deck 8. thanks for any info! Jerie
  7. Thanks- yep - definitely different now! Last cruise was 4 years ago through the Panama Canal - on a different line, and the roll call was very active. Year before that was Alaska - we met some great people on that roll call as well. Oh well- thought I'd try....
  8. Hello, It's been a few years since I've been involved in a Roll Call. We've met some of our fellow cruisers on roll calls before cruises in the past - hoping we can do so on this upcoming cruise. If you're sailing 7/22/24 on Navigator - come check out the roll call! Jerie
  9. We had a good turn out on our roll call (Oct 2019 though!) - enough to request a private cocktail party on board. I'm not sure if my activity starting the roll call and getting the cocktail party going was the reason - but we were invited to dine with ship staff on 2 different occasions. This was our first Regent cruise - so I don't know what normally happens. Jerie
