Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Good to know. I will look and see if we have to tender anywhere.
  2. Thank you! Will definitely check those out. We are arriving a couple of days early. We want to see some of New York.
  3. Thank you! I never even thought about the dining room!
  4. Thank you! I will try that. So far in my search everything im finding is not. So just looking for some ideas.
  5. We are going to Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Sydney, Nova Scotia; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint John, NB in September 2024. My mom has Parkinson's and very limited mobility. She is pretty much wheelchair bound. She can do transfers if they are not big (like a handful of steps), she can do some steps if they are wide enough for my dad to do them with her so he can help her. She has a wheelchair that we push her around in and we can rent a scooter if needed. What type of excursions do you suggest that are handicap accessible? She would LOVE to be able to go whale watching if there is a place that can accommodate her with getting on and off the boat. I appreciate the help. This is a trip for my parents 50th Anniversary and she is feeling bad that she will hold everyone back and says she just wont get off the ship. So I'm determined to find things that we can all do together. We are also not opposed to renting a car somewhere if that would be the easiest option for us.
  6. My husband, Dad and our boys really would like to try deep sea fishing for one of our stops. (Boston, Portland, ME, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Saint John, NB) Is there a stop that is better for that and if so who do you suggest to book through?

  8. Ok thank you! I will just let them know we will have to put them on a different floor or they will have to find a 3rd person to bring along with them.
  9. So we are cruising next year with a group of people for my parents 50th Anniversary. One of the couples that are going really would like to have a panoramic ocean view close to my parents room. However the only ones still left are for 3 people and they are only sailing with 2. Can I book them with 3 people and then as it gets closer to sailing drop the 3rd? If we did that would they get that money back for the 3rd person and would they still get to keep the same room or would they then have to switch rooms? If there is no way around this they understand but I was just trying to see if there was a way to make it happen. I can not switch my parents room as they need a handicap room and it was one of the only ones left.
  10. once you click to reserve it will give you the choice of 12 or 24 and then the price will change. I just today reserved it for my cruise and its 30.99 for 12 and 54.99 for 24
  11. I'm not sure what that would be but I'll let my son know he may have an idea. Thank you
  12. Thank you! I will let him know. He was a little nervous about what to do on our sea days.
  13. This will be our first cruise where my son is now 18. He has loved having the kids and then teen clubs. He really likes to meet new people while on board and do the different scheduled activities with them. My question is now that he is 18 will they have anything for young adults or is he just on his own?
