on the Expedition Ship we had to request a paper version of the DAILY but maybe the Ocean Ship are still routinely putting in the cabins at turn down....how else am I going to be able to fall asleep if I don't have it to read!

Minor things have changed but not enough for us to stop cruising with Viking: For us disappointing changes include: Viking Air...many more up charges even when purchasing "Air Plus" and not being able to always upgrade our seats because of the type of seat Viking purchased. Very strange and inconvenient connections when others have better flights to the same destinations. Food is still very good but have had fewer GREAT meals recently...especially beef options. Wine: choice when having SSP are no where near as robust as they once were Liquor: they seem to run out of more things each cruise...Bartenders are still FANTASTIC I miss the paper maps that we used to get in each port! And a printed Viking Daily ( yes I am OLD and don't love my phone.). I missed the booklets that had itinerary and shore excursions...they were great to look back at once at home, but I am glad to save trees ! I miss the small gifts that Viking use to include: felt bags for documents and welcome home gifts. IMO Viking is still a fantastic option for cruising and have a terrific crews who are always ready with a smile to help whenever they can!

Mike did many of the history talks. He also did the tour on the ship of the Bayeaux tapestry in the staircases. Wendy did not present.

I just saw that more of my favorite Viking folks have joined you on the SKY...Mike and Wendy Seigel. Make sure to attend Mike's lectures...they were always well prepared, delivered and enjoyed! His wife, Wendy, is a delight too. If anyone has the opportunity tell them Dee and Pat Clark from the Jupiter in 2022 send our best!

what an absolutely wonderful extension and your descriptions brought it alive!!! Hoping our Gin, Gardens and Grand Homes extension is as wonderful.

Tenders will be below you no problems with blocking you view. might be a bit noisy when the launch or bring back onboard. that is not a very busy corridor other than passengers going to their rooms or if folks are watching a performance in the atrium from there so I don't think you should have noise from the public restroom.

I did not know MAX ( if he the same Max) was onboard...he was on the Jupiter with us in 2022 when we went from Santiago, Chile. to Buenos Aires to Barcelona to Bergen to Amsterdam ( loved those Covid cancellation and 25%)...he and his team worked miracles as things opened and closed as the world was reopening! You were lucky to have him trying to navigate the mess you all faced!

We have always been very happy with the cruise consultant and found their suggestions valuable plus the OBC is always useful to use toward our gratuities. Not the consultant's fault that Viking would NOT honor the double pass passenger credit 😞

band is usually set up against the back wall as you enter Torshavn from the Starboard side, the band is toward the stern. It is not a very large space.

the wireless charging station did not work well with my Iphone 15 ...maybe my silicone case is the problem.

I do not know what the even side of the ship is like for noise . I would probably try and get a cabin aft of split or a bit further forward.

we moved the date of our Zurich to Paris that we had booked in January while onboard the Octantis and LOST the $400/pp past passenger discount...Viking would not budge on it! It can be soooo frustrating.

our cruise is May1 and as far as we know we are still Greenwich.

so Kent what will you bring aboard in tokyo?....we will probably need a change after the crossing from Alaska...but we will have SSP because I really have fun with the different cocktails!!
