  1. I did not even know that the US had two dollar bills until I read it on Cruise critic. I went to a bank (Canada) and lo and behold they had six of them. They said that no one ever asks for that denomination . I also got a ton of ones to tip additionally with (we have the plus package). Love and learn.😀
  2. It appears that our sailing is fully booked a few weeks out. In this circumstance would any bids have been accepted?
  3. Are getting your guaranteed room assignment and winning a bid a two step process? Ie. you receive your room and then a different room populates on the app if your bid is successful
  4. Do you know typically how much before you sail you get your guarantee room assignment? Just wondering if it would be too late to bid on an upgrade.
  5. Hi…I have a guarantee room booked, and have also placed a bid on a higher cabin. What is the most likely process for getting our room…ie…do they give the guarantee first, and then sometime closer to sailing they decide whether or not to accept my bid for the upgrade…so two parts? Also, has anyone bid on a room category and been given a higher category? I guess same question with the guarantee.

  9. Hi…we ended up having to cancel and rebook. When I go to the medallion app, it doesn’t show my new booking number. When I try to link it, it says the new one is already taken. I can see the old booking cancelled on the app. I did go online and rebook excursions and such, so it’s only the app giving grief. Any hints on how to fix this? Does it take a few days to catch up to the website?
  10. Here’s my update. My TA tried to discuss with Princess this weekend, but had to call the service desk today. Lo and behold the price of the cruise went up by $500 while trying to resolve today. So, no point going any further.
  11. Another follow up question 😀 does it make a difference on who at Princess you talk to to get the change one way or another?
  12. Under what circumstances would they make you rebook the whole thing? I am before final payment and the cruise is a better price now.
  13. Hi…if I am trying to adjust my cruise, do I have to cancel and rebook the air?
  14. I really don’t need the wifi package on board, but would like to check in every once in a while. Any suggestions?
