Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Our cruise is about 58 days out. Tonight I tried to make main room dining dinner reservations for our party of 4 (2 couples/2 booking numbers). If I try to make dinner reservations just for my husband and me we can get anytime from 5pm onward. If I add the other couple and make us a group of 4, the dinner reservation availability changes to 7:30pm or later. We don't really want to eat that late. I have a few thoughts but would like to hear if anyone else has any advice. 1) I'm thinking each couple should make separate dinner reservations (5pm) and just go together and ask to sit near each other. The tables for 2 are so close together that it's like you're eating together anyway. OR 2) Leave the reservations as is for now and just go to the dining room at the time we want to eat and take our chances. Any advice is appreciated.

    Royal

Just got off the Royal last weekend and yes, it's in the Pastry shop at Horizon Court!
  3. I'm considering Totem Bight for our upcoming cruise. Can anyone comment on taking the bus? Someone above mentioned a shuttle but I'm guessing they mean the silver line bus? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also wondering about how easy it is to get on the bus? Are their long lines? We're considering the 7:26am bus (if we can get off the ship in time). Any info/tips on taking the bus to/from Totem Bight is greatly appreciated!
  4. Thank you for clarifying. I didn't realize they were distinguishing between the two.
  5. The ArriveCan app/website is clear that fully vaccinated travelers don't need to test. Has anyone found this not to be true? I just wish the Princess website reflected this same information which is why there's so much confusion! Pre-entry testing is not required Pre-entry tests are not required for fully vaccinated travellers entering Canada by land, air or water. You must still use ArriveCAN within 72 hours before your arrival to Canada. To qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller to Canada, you must: have received at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine accepted for travel, a mix of 2 accepted vaccines or at least 1 dose of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson, Ad26.COV2.S (JNJ-78436735)) vaccine have received your second dose at least 14 calendar days before you enter Canada Example: if your second dose was anytime on Thursday, July 1, then Thursday, July 15 would be the first day that you meet the 14 day condition this timing is only required for your second dose, not for third or fourth doses have no signs or symptoms of COVID-19 have ArriveCAN receipt with letter A, I, or V beside your name by uploading proof of vaccination in ArriveCAN
  6. 2017 and 2018....the $99 photo package was such a bargain!
  7. So with the $89 photo package....do you get 5 physical prints and the rest on a thumb drive? On our last 2 cruises we paid $99 and went home with so many physical pictures plus all on a thumb drive. I'm happy if pictures are on a thumb drive but if we only get 5 total then I'll pass. If anyone can clarify specifically what you get for $89 I'd so appreciate it. We sail in less than 2 weeks and I'd love to make a decision. Thanks!
  8. Can anyone tell me the Sanctuary hours that are available for reservations? It sounds like a morning reservation or an afternoon reservation but what hours specifically?
  9. I'm right there with you and wondering about the photo packages also! Hoping some have experience with this new way of doing things and can provide some words of wisdom!
  10. How does one find such a proctor? Is there a website where it can be scheduled?
