Thanks for the review. We also enjoyed the layout of the Jade, the larger ships just don't hold the same attraction for us. We also liked Le Bistro the best of all the specialty dining venues.

You have had many very enjoyable NCL cruises in the past, so it is quite understandable that you stayed with them, and will try some of their other ships. Since Covid, all of the lines have had a myriad of cutbacks that devotees have noticed, at least here on CC. Now that cruisers have returned, some ships/lines are doing a much better job than others bringing the great experiences back. Unfortunately, you have had a couple of very poor cruises service-wise, so, there are plenty of fish in the sea for you to sample now! (so to speak)..

yes, some people who have never tried cruising have weird notions about being trapped inside with nowhere to go and nothing to do..! oh well, their loss!

Seriously though, I don't believe you asked for anything difficult: Don’t call her Mrs. Don’t serve hair in her food Make her Painkillers correctly Serve tasty food in a timely manner Clean the bathroom Fix the toilet Provide services that were paid for Listen to customers' requests I am happy to hear that your Dad will try Princess with you. We haven't been on NCL since 2018. We have been on HAL several times since then, and while certainly not perfect, their staff are wonderful, the food is good, and the beds are comfortable! (although no separate bedrooms). Might be another option for you, and they are great in Alaska. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Hope your next cruise is a much happier time!!
