    American dollars are accepted in Calgary but you will pay a premium. Best to change your money at a currency exchange at an airport. Americans don't accept Canadian dollars at all so unwise American tourists are open game.

    Tensions are high in the Baltic nations, Poland, Eastern Europe as likely all over Europe. While rips to Europe might be great a potential war is not my idea of a fun vacation. The war is very serious. Slava Ukraini!

    I am hesitant to give up masks in a crowded atmosphere like a cruise ship. There are many people who did not get fully vaccinated, still. Also it appears that whether you caught COVID or are fully vaccinated there is a risk to become infected. Long haul COVID is not how I would want to live my life. So masks for me.
