DaKahuna after reading your review we decided to book12 nights pre cruise on land as we love doing our own thing. We are lucky to be retired and don’t think we will be back this way again. Pity about the lack of Japanese meals onboard.

You have us both laughing as I read your report to my husband but so much important information 👌. We booked premium economy with Air France when flights were first released now they have doubled plus in price so feeling very lucky. Your flight with BA looks very good…..we always try to avoid Heathrow. Great to get the hotel upgrade👍

I bought a Citizen watch 7 years ago with onboard credit. Wear it every day and love it. I also bought an iPad with onboard credit but I did have to add some dollars to that.

Your video of the last day Extravaganza buffet is fantastic…..note to self visit the buffet!! What an amazing variety of seafood, meats, salads, cheese and deserts. As always we have throughly enjoy your trip report. Thank you.

Good to hear. Same for us Aqua was just so expensive. We booked Concierge on Apex just to get the extra points that will finally get us up to Elite plus.

Really enjoying following along. The ship looks amazing with all your great photos and video. I was wondering do you miss Blu as I know like us you are big fans or does having the 4 restaurants to choose from make up for not being in Blu? We will have our 1st experience of an E class ship next October when we are onboard the Apex. Wishing you both a wonderful cruise.

We stayed in the Fullerton Hotel 1km from the cruise terminal. We were able to walk down to the terminal on the day of cruise with our luggage….admittedly we were 10 years younger! It’s a beautiful hotel and very centrally to all the sights.

Those martinis look delicious, I am definitely upgrading to the Premium Package at the next sale. I usually stick to gin and tonic but our son has introduced us to cocktails and margaritas which are very nice. Thank you for all the information it has been very helpful in planning our cruise next April.

Your new accommodation looks divine enjoy every minute. Love the photo of sipping coffee waiting for Iain to get up…..know the feeling 😂. Our next cruise is October on (Apex 1st time) transatlantic with good friends. Then Japan next April but hopefully lots of land trips in between. Your photos have been very colourful but I do miss the photos of food you used to post. I’m so glad this cruise is living up to the old Celebrity we all love.

We usually book directly with Celebrity and from memory they usually send a reminder a few weeks before final payment and I always pay there and then in case I forget!,

So sorry for your loss. Loosing a parent is one of the big challenges in life. I hope she got to enjoy many martinis from the glass over the years.

We stayed there about 15 years ago magically! Also don’t forget Harry’s Bar for a Bellini…..have a great trip.

Loving your review. Check out the Gritti Palace in Venice. A great place to have a drink or lunch on the Grand Canal. Your photos are stunning.

Your AirBnB looks very nice. We also love AirBnB when we travel and if staying in one place for more than 1 night. We lived in Australia when we were 1st married for 3 years. In fact we got married on a Friday and landed in Australia on the Monday……that was our honeymoon🤣. My husband was starting his job the following Monday. We lived just north of Sydney in a place called Gosford. I travelled to Sydney every day for work by train long days but very happy memories. We have only been back once 2013 as we love seeing other parts of the world.

They were known to be a very contentious couple…..happily divorced now. Yes, Ballsbridge is a lovely part of south Dublin. My son and his wife rented an apartment there when they were 1st married so we know the area very well.
