That is correct for Grand Princess. I did ask for the Godfather ice cream dessert without the candies - just vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. Had no problem getting it. Only ordered the cake at the IC so can't give accurate info about ordering cake for the MDRs.

Meredith, he can have anything he wants to drink. I have diet Coke at every luncheon I have been too. At the cocktail parties, I try out new drinks which is nice if we don't have a package. Food has always been seafood heavy (Ken loves that) but I have to hope for meatballs or pigs in blanket for me..

Thanks for the info. Even though I usually cruise on a sister line to Carnival, the web site for Carnival, other requirements to be cruise ready, etc are totally different - at least to me they are.

Will have a B2B (1st time on Carnival) on the Carnival Dream - 6 day and 8 day with different cabins. Will room steward help move or provide a cart for our use? I know we can do the check in process on 10 June for the 6 day cruise. Does Carnival require that on 16 Nov you do the full check in process again for the 2nd cruise? Will check with TA to be sure the two cruises are linked.

Thanks so much. This is company we have used 3 times when going to Civitavecchia. So glad to know they are still in business. Will try to remember to ask you how it went. They were always waiting for us but had to look around for their sign. There were lots of drivers with signs waiting for their riders.

First time (Nov) to attempt a cash account. Who determines how much cash, above the amount of your OBC, is needed to set up your cash account Do you give the cash while checking in at the terminal or once on board at GS. I am on a B2B (6 day and 8 day). Thanks

All my OBC is now non refundable so don't have to wait around and hope for a check to arrive. .

No expectations either positive or negative. We always enjoy a cruise no matter the ship or itinerary. Just not familiar with how to find different items on our Carnival booking.

Haven't been able to find out answers to a couple of questions. First is - How or where can we see the on board credit that we will have for a cruise? We've applied for the Stock Credit and would like to know that it as well as any TA OBC has been posted to our booking before we board the Carnival Dream. 2nd - I was going to look over the On Line Check In section to see what was required but it doesn't show. It this because you can only access this section 14 days before your cruise date? Everything seems so complicated?🤔 Thanks In Advance

Sticker shock for sure but went ahead with the Port of Galveston SMP Garage which is just a short walk to Pier 25. Just got a new 2024 car and didn't want it sitting outside for 30 days. Can't complain anymore about the parking rate for the Ft Lauderdale garage across from Pier 2.

Just curious as I have had bowel blockage surgery 3 times and I did worry about symptoms happening on a cruise.. You said above that no underlying conditions (is that same as pre existing condition??). I always thought my blockage would be even though 2017 was the last occurrence. Haven't considered high blood pressure or AFIB to be as medication/treatment has remained unchanged. We are 78 and 80 and use PVP due to high cost of non cruise insurance.

Having the potential for large on board medical expenses and possible local hospital/hotel charges, is the reason we got a HELOC credit card to use with regular CCs. So far we have not had any major medical problems.

A good bit ago, a friend's husband was medically disembarked and spent a week or so in an AU hospital. Before he could be released to fly home to FL, she had to cover the bill, have a first class air ticket for her husband plus a nurse and a ticket for herself. Also, she had hotel bills for while her husband was in the hospital. Have no idea if AU hospitals still do things that way. I now travel with several credit cards plus a Home Equity Line credit card just in case I might ever be in that situation.

We have never pre-booked as we use our OBC. Also, have never had a problem getting a reservation for a table for 2 or 5 at our regular eating time of 5:30

Dined at Crown Grill in April on the Ruby and May on the Grand and both times the charge was $92.04 for the two of us.

Some years back, we had a Caribbean cruise booked on one of the Royal ships. Noticed a large number of guys who looked like pro football players. When I finally noticed that they were wearing a lanyard and badge, I knew the guys were with a group. The group had no impact on us having a great cruise. If I hadn't noticed the name badges, wouldn't have known that there was a group on board.

Strawberries on Fire (non-alcoholic drink ) is very good if you find the right bartender.

Was on the Ruby and Grand this past Mar - May. I ordered whatever ever comes with the Oreo cookie (that's what I really wanted). Only asked for vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and the Oreo. No Oreos at that time so had a Snickers Bar instead of the Oreo.
