Krew Kapers was as wonderful of a show as ever and not to be missed. Forgive that I don’t remember her name, but there is a young lady on the housekeeping team that sings like a professional, wow!
That would be Marelie. She is a gem on and off the stage !

Does anyone know the exact size of the European Queen bed in the Veranda Suites? I googled European Queen bed size and came up with several different answers.
Thanks!
the beds on Grandeur are the same as Explorer and Splendour.
See the same questions on another thread: -

I thought the December 6th cruise was for VIP's and TA's
December 6, 2024 is a Caribbean cruise. December 10, 2023 is reserved.

If you cancel you get a refund of the deposit you paid minus $100 per person. And no fcc for that $100. You just lose it.
One of the long standing benefits of "booking onboard" was a one-time ability to change your cruise to another sailing. You could change at any time with no penalty, and retain all of the original benefits. Can you ask the Cruise Consultant onboard if that is still the case, given the new Penalty policy. TIA.

I promised that I would do a comparison between this O cruise on Marina and our Regent experience.
Thanks for the comparisons. We have been reluctant to give Oceania a try, but I think we just might. But the poor treatment from headquarters is shocking !

On Mariner now, and the previous sailing. Both times did not have a group muster drill. Instead you watch the safety video and check in at your muster location when you get onboard. They will scan your keycard. Prior to sail away, you will get the full safety briefing over the PA.

yes...any card will work. I think I used my AARP card last time on Explorer. 😉
The folded map of the ship works great. You get one in the folio with your keycard. -
My US tape measure (inches) shows what fits the suite. YMMV
Maybe they sell variations that fit home standards.
-
It partly depends on which suite you are considering. The G cabin beds are smaller. The Regent Suit is bigger.
That said, for standard F thru A cabins, the bed size is “about” 68 inches wide and 74 long, when set up as a King. I am measuring a bed on Explorer. The bed frame is actually 2 frames pushed together. The top of the mattress has a zipper to connect both halves together.
For 2 twins, the halves are separated. The bed stands will be placed in between.

Here are measurements on Explorer today, for an F category. The E should be identical.
From the entry doorway to the dresser/desk combo: 10 feet long, 40 inches wide. That includes the area with the door to the bathroom and the door to the closet.
The dresser/deck then makes the passage narrower, until you fully get into the bedroom area. That width is 27 inches.
both measurements were at the baseboard. You can add an inch or two for wall widths if you don’t care about width at the floor.

Michael was departing the ship on Friday as we boarded. Norbert just took over. We also had Norbert on Navigator last October.

In another bizarre twist today, we were in the theater with bus tickets in hand for our brewery tour in Freeport. Instead of calling us to proceed to the bus, we were told the tour was canceled.

Back to the itinerary change without explanation.
Norwegian Escape has just arrived at Great Stirrup Cay. So, it appears we got bumped by a ship that does not offer “free” excursions.

I’m curious about the changes you mentioned. Changes to the itinerary? to tours? To staff?
See "Another itinerary change for Navigator" thread.
This sailing's itinerary is swiss cheese from schedule changes. Even the pre-cruise hotel was changed.

Dear Valued Guest and Travel Advisor,
We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service, and as we continue to work through challenges with air services due to the combination of strong demand for air travel, reduced airline capacity and major airline schedule changes, we have decided to revise our Custom Air policy to help reduce long call hold times to our Custom Air Department.
Currently, there is a $175 per person fee to customize fights through Regent’s Custom Air Department.
Beginning today, March 27, 2023, to speak directly to our Air Concierges a $75 non-refundable Custom Air call service fee will be applied to reservations which, if the Custom Air flight option presented is accepted within three days, will become part of the existing $175 per person air customization fee.
If guests choose not to accept the Custom Air flight option presented within 3 days, the option will be automatically canceled, and the $75 fee will not be refunded.
To accept the presented Custom Air flight options, guests can simply reply to the Custom Air email. It is not required to call Regent to confirm any Custom Air flight options.
After the Custom Air flight option expires, to search for additional flight options an additional $75 non-refundable fee will be added to the reservation.
Platinum, Titanium, Diamond, and Commodore guests will continue to receive a complimentary one-time Custom Air deviation.
Please note, schedule changes made by the airlines are outside of our control. If there is a significant change in schedule, our Air Concierge will find a better alternative without charging a new custom air fee.
What should I do before calling the Custom Air Department?
While our teams are committed to delivering An Unrivaled Experience from time of booking all the way through to your cruise and beyond, there are some considerations that will help us provide the best possible service.
Before calling our Custom Air Department, we recommend the following steps to allow you to finalize your air arrangements in one call.
· Check availability online – this will show you flight options from your departure city. If the lowest business class fare does not show available, it is not likely available within our contracts.
· Note any options that are your preferred schedule and routing - including the pricing of each of those flights.
· Now that you have the price to purchase air independently, you can make an educated decision to use Regent air or book on your own, utilizing our air credit.
· If you have a preferred carrier or route where Regent requires a price differential, you will also be able to decide between purchasing independent air and taking the air credit or accepting the differential to book the air with Regent. Regent does not profit on air differentials.
· It helps to be flexible - can you travel an extra day or two prior or stay a day or two later?
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we provide a new solution to processing Custom Air requests efficiently, while delivering the best service possible.

Another social media site is reporting that the port is closed. Luggage is being returned to guests cabins. Sounds like a long delay is in process..

Hoping that someone can tell us about the temperatures on board the Splendor in the Compass Rose , specialty restaurants, lounges, hallways etc. Do they lean toward being chilly? Trying to decide if a light sweater is usually needed for dinning. Packing begins shortly.
Currently on Splendor, halfway to Miami. The Observation Lounge is very cold for trivia, requiring a light sweater most days. Compass Rose is chilly as well. Theater is variable.
