  1. I cannot view any of the videos or files you have posted.
  2. The library has a large collection of DVDs.
  3. One of the deals that is ongoing provides two bottles of wine per cabin. If you open the wine in your cabin, can you take it to Amphora without a corkage fee? Or must you bring it already poured in a glass? I have always just ordered bottles of wine in Amphora, but I will have two bottles in my cabin in March.
  4. They normally supply L'Occitane toiletries which are not likely to be hypo-allergenic since they are mildly fragranced. I do not know if hypo-allergenic toiletries are an option, but I would not be surprised if they are. When you arrive, you tell your cabin steward what drinks you want in your refrigerator and any other special needs. The steward can quickly separate the bed into twins, if requested. I don't drink soda so I don't know if Diet Dr. Pepper is an option. Your steward can remove the alcohol from your refrigerator. You can also request different pillows. My husband and I are vegan, and Windstar has been most deliciously accommodating of our special diet for the past 9 cruises. I think you will be pleasantly surprised how wonderfully the passengers are treated.
  5. The hair dryer is perfectly adequate and easy to use.
  6. It appears that only the southern and southwestern coastal towns have been affected. CNN just reported that all ports in the US Virgins and Puerto Rico remain open at this time. Puerto Rico just doesn't get a break...
  7. Comparing the discovery of asbestos in an engine room to the disaster of the Boeing 737 MAX is ridiculous. It is not uncommon for asbestos to show up during renovations and it certainly was not due to any negligence on the part of Windstar. We cannot say the same for Boeing.
  8. Option 1 that WS offers states that they will refund travel in full. You do not need to have a rebooked airfare. They are not comparing new and old airfares. They are simply fully refunding the old airfare. That is the way it was explained to my TA.
  9. Our June Alaska itinerary on the Breeze was cancelled and I considered rebooking on the August itinerary. I wonder if the ship will be ready by then or we might go through another cancellation!!!! This is so disappointing.
  10. It is $16/day, double occupancy. If you are traveling alone, it is $8 per day.
  11. I have used the same online TA for my last 10 Windstar bookings. They have been extremely helpful and great to work with, especially when the occasional problems arise.
  12. You can't mention travel agents. Other cruise lines are mentioned all the time, often for comparative reasons.
  13. Yes, there is an omelette station at breakfast. In the suites, there are bar soap and shower gel. Public rest rooms, of course, only have liquid soap. You are going to absolutely love the Pride and her staff.
  14. Madeira is 6919 kilometers from Colon. At 12 knots (or 22 kilometers per hour), she should take 13 days to arrive in Colon. That would be just in time! Lets hope for following seas...
